Winner to Advance to Free Flow Tour Finals in SaltLake City
Burr Ridge, IL — August 19, 2008 — Joey Chernoff won the BMX parkcompetition this weekend at the Free Flow Tour’s Petaluma, Calif. stop,becoming a winner on the Tour’s 2008 season.
Following Sunday’s action at Ramp Rats Skatepark,21-year-old Chernoff of San Mateo, Calif. took home the BMX park title, whileRonnie Michelini and Kurt Russel took home the second- and third-place honors,respectively.
“The Free Flow Tour contest at Ramp Rats was off the hook!”said park owner, Mike Krnaich, following the competition. “With 55 contestants,the energy was awesome.”
With the win, Chernoff earns an automatic bid into the FreeFlow Tour finals that will take place at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge,September 11-14, 2008.
