Four Winners to Advance to Free Flow Tour Finalsin Salt Lake City
Burr Ridge, IL — July 14, 2008 — Lance Childers and Fletcher Renegantook home the skate vert and park titles, respectively, at the Free Flow Tour’sFlorence, Ky. competition, becoming winners on the 2008 season. Also pullingout wins at Ollies Skatepark were Brett Banasiewics (BMX park) and Brian Hinkle(BMX vert).
Following Saturday’s skate action at Ollies Skatepark,Renegan, 14 of Ringgold, Ga., took home the skate park title, while Houston,Texas-native Childers, 18, won the skate vert competition. Banasiewics, 13,from Southbend, Ind. claimed the top spot in Sunday’s BMX park contest, andLouisville, Ky.-native Hinkle, 21, earned the BMX vert victory.
“I’m just high on life right now,” Hinkle said after his win. “Hopefully I can continue riding like this for the finals.”
“It was crazy. The Free Flow Tour is the best contest ever!”Banasiewics exclaimed, while Childers added, “It feels good to come out on top– especially with the top-notch competition that was at Free Flow today.”
“I’m very excited and very thankful. I can’t wait for thetrip to the finals; it’s going to be fun!” Renegan declared after taking homethe skate park victory.
“Of all the contests we’ve had, I have never seen moreout-of-state license plates in the parking lot.” Ollies Skatepark owner, BobLeffler, said after the contest. “The Free Flow Tour brought a lot of reallygood riders and skaters here to our park. We can’t wait for them to come backnext year!”
With the wins, all four earn automatic bids intothe Free Flow Tour finals that will take place at the AST Dew Tour’s ToyotaChallenge, September 11-14, 2008.
