LOCAL SKATEBOARD ATHLETE WINS FREE FLOW TOUR EVENT AT KONA SKATEPARK

Winner to Advance to Free Flow Tour Finals in Salt Lake City
Burr Ridge, IL — August 4, 2008 — Timmy Knuth won the skateboard park competition this weekend at the Free Flow Tour’s Jacksonville, Fla. stop, becoming a winner on the Tour’s 2008 season.
Following Saturday’s action at Kona Skatepark, 17-year-old Knuth of Cocoa Beach, Fla. took home the skate park title, while a pair of Jacksonville natives – Paul Hart, 14, and Evan Mirschel, 16 – took home the second- and third-place honors, respectively.
With the win, Knuth earns an automatic bid into the Free Flow Tour finals that will take place at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 11-14, 2008.

Winner to Advance to Free Flow Tour Finals in Salt Lake City
Burr Ridge, IL — July 28, 2008 — Nick Matthews won the skateboard park competition this weekend at the Free Flow Tour’s Tinley Park, Ill. stop, becoming a winner on the Tour’s 2008 season.
Following Saturday’s action at Krush Skatepark, 13-year-old Matthews of Naperville, Ill. took home the skate park title, while Kevin Brown, 14, and 16-year-old Mike Matzuka took home the second- and third-place honors, respectively.
“I’m super excited, especially since I was up against some really good competition,” exclaimed Matthews following his win.
“It was a super fun contest. The whole day ran really smoothly, and we would love to have the Free Flow Tour back at Krush again next year,” said Bob Fairbairn, Krush park manager. “It’s great to have this many kids out skating.”
With the win, Matthews earns an automatic bid into the Free Flow Tour finals that will take place at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 11-14, 2008.
