Timmy Knuth Takes Fourth Overall in Skate Park Finals at AST Dew Tour’s PlayStation® Pro in Orlando

ORLANDO – Timmy Knuth took fourth place overall in the skate park finals on Sunday (Oct. 19), held at the AST Dew Tour’s PlayStation® Pro, the fifth and final stop of the 2008 season.
The 17-year-old Knuth of Melbourne, Fla. won the Free Flow Tour’s skate park finals last month to earn a wildcard entry into the PlayStation® Pro. After taking second place in the prelims on Thursday, he achieved fourth place in the AST Dew Tour’s skate park finals today. Knuth earned a score of 82.10.
"It was such a great experience coming to skate with all these pros," Knuth said. "Just a great experience. I'm just going to keep skating a lot, doing more contests and hopefully do the Dew Tour next year."
With the fourth-place finish in the finals, Knuth ended the competition just behind top skaters Greg Lutzka, Paul Rodriguez and Chaz Ortiz, this year’s skate park Dew Cup winner.
The four-day competition is the final of five stops of the AST Dew Tour that features skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross.

ORLANDO – Timmy Knuth took second place overall in the skate park prelims on Thursday (Oct. 16), held at the AST Dew Tour’s PlayStation® Pro.
The 17-year-old Knuth of Melbourne, Fla. won the Free Flow Tour’s skate park finals last month to earn a wildcard entry into the PlayStation® Pro. Today, he achieved second place in the AST Dew Tour’s skate park prelims, earning a score of 84.75 by landing a tre flip up the gap and a kick flip to crooked grind to secure a berth into the finals.
“There’s so much great talent coming up in Florida right now, and I feel really honored to be representing them,” Knuth said. “It’s amazing to skate with all these professionals. I’m trying to learn from them and, at the same time, do the best that I can against them.”
With the second-place finish in prelims, Knuth earns a spot in the skate park finals, taking place on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 4-5:30pm. Knuth will be competing against top skate park athletes including Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz and Paul Rodriguez, who are sitting in the top three positions in the year-long Dew Tour standings.
